Behind Averis there is one person, three servers and a lot of stubbornness. Let's get to know each other.
Averis started in the middle of the pandemic, with one simple website. Right after that I began building an order management system for my dad's company — very simple and heavily limited at first. We deployed it in a raw version and tested it live, on real production. Iteration by iteration, the system replaced the sticky notes on the desks.
Out of that experiment, after more than three years of continuous development, grew the Averis App — our flagship system for manufacturing and service companies. I still remember the moment the counter showed the first 10,000 orders, and the first 100,000 logged work hours. Along the way, new clients started coming in — for websites, custom software and automations.

My name is Mateusz Szyszka, I am 25 and I am a full-stack software engineer. Averis is a family-run, local company — I don't depend on big tech corporations; I compete with passion, resourcefulness and partner-like relationships with clients. The name? A random word I simply liked. After hours I am into new technology, cycling — I ride a lot these days — and sailing.
Cooperation starts with a conversation: a lot of talking, meetings, notes and brainstorming. We learn from each other — I get to know your business, you learn what is technically possible and what pays off. We work mostly remotely, but I prefer meeting in person — I usually grab my laptop and come over. Simple websites can be delivered in as little as three days, and with bigger software you see progress as it happens, in a shared group with everyone involved in the project.
I have two iron rules. First: I don't take on projects I don't understand — if I am not one hundred percent sure I can deliver, I refer you to someone who knows the field better. Second: I play with open cards. You learn the real costs, real timelines and real limitations at the start, not after the fact — a cooperation planned for years cannot begin with things left unsaid.
On top of that comes our own infrastructure with round-the-clock monitoring and alerts — we know about problems before users notice them. The result: the Averis App has maintained 99.99% uptime for three years, with virtually no outages.
We deliberately aim at small and medium businesses. We are not yet a team for large corporations — and I prefer to say that openly. For SMEs, though, we are a partner for years: our longest cooperation has been running for about three years, and a steady group of clients keeps coming back with new projects. We work with companies from Poland, Slovakia and Germany — in Polish and English.
